After losing my right hand I struggled with returning to a “normal” life and keeping my spirits up. Shortly after my loss I was visited by another amputee who’s advice changed my mindset and proved invaluable to me. He showed me modern prosthetic technology and reassured me that I would be able to return to everything I was doing prior to my amputation. I take pride in passing along that message to everyone I meet, If I can help at least one person the way he helped me then everything I do is worth it.
